Locums - Erie, Pennsylvania - Cardiac Surgeon Job

Locum tenens opportunity
Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible cardiac surgeon
Coverage needed: June 10-15 ending Monday morning
Call coverage only
24-hour call shifts
No clinic responsibilities
Offsite call allowed (hotel)
Sole provider on call; APPs provide floor support
Average admissions on call: 1 patient
30-minute response time required
Facility: 458-bed Level II Trauma Center
100% adult patient population
Emergency cardiac surgery coverage including:
- CABG
- Aortic valve replacement
- TAVR
- Aortic aneurysm repair
- Heart valve surgery
- MitraClip
- PFO closure
- ECMO and tamponade cases
Two dedicated cardiac ORs daily
APP support available for vein harvest/open-close procedures
Minimum 3 years post-training experience required
Active Pennsylvania license required or ability to obtain
DEA, ACLS, BLS, and CPR required
EMR: Cerner
