Clinical Associate

Abbott EP seeks a Clinical Associate to provide clinical and technical support in electrophysiology lab settings, working with physicians and hospital staff to support cardiac arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment. The role involves product expertise, procedural case coverage, customer relationship building, and collaboration with sales teams across a regional territory.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and technical support during EP procedures in hospital labs and operating rooms
  • Build and maintain credible relationships with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff
  • Deliver engineering, sales, and educational support on Abbott EP products and systems
  • Support regional sales representatives through training seminars, troubleshooting, and new product demonstrations
  • Stay current on industry developments, regulatory requirements, and competitive products; share market insights with management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to satisfy vendor credentialing requirements including potential COVID-19 vaccination
  • Strong foundational knowledge of electrophysiology technology and cardiac arrhythmias
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clinical professionals
  • Independent judgment and ability to work in fast-paced hospital environments
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training and procedure coverage
