Insurance Agency Manager – Sales & Team Leadership

$30–$40/hour + Bonuses/Commission | Full-Time | San Ramon, CA 

We're looking for a motivated, experienced Agency Manager to help lead our team while continuing to actively sell, serve customers, and contribute to agency growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys both producing and leading . You'll maintain individual sales goals and regular customer interaction while also helping coach the team, run meetings, reinforce accountability, and step into a leadership role when the agency owner is away.

What You'll Do

• Maintain individual sales goals while helping drive overall team production
• Connect with prospective and existing customers by phone, text, and email
• Identify customer needs, provide quotes, and recommend appropriate insurance products
• Follow up with leads, make outbound calls, and cross-sell to existing customers
• Help lead team meetings, sales huddles, and accountability conversations
• Coach and support team members with sales skills, follow-up, and daily priorities
• Monitor team activity and production metrics and help identify areas for improvement
• Assist with day-to-day office leadership and help keep the team organized and on track
• Handle customer questions and escalations when needed
• Serve as a trusted point of leadership when the agency owner is unavailable

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay: $30–$40/hour
• Commission & bonuses: Monthly incentives based on individual and agency production
• Expected total compensation: $80,000–$110,000+

Leadership experience is preferred, but formal management experience is not necessarily required. We're especially interested in strong producers who have naturally taken on leadership, mentoring, training, or accountability responsibilities within a team.

Insurance experience is preferred but not required. Experience in insurance, sales, banking, financial services, customer service, or another performance-driven environment can translate well to this position.

Licensing: A Property & Casualty insurance license is not required to apply. Selected candidates must obtain all required licenses before their start date.
