Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Florida Licensed Registered Nurse at Fort Myers Academy in Fort Myers, FL Ft. Myers Academy (FMYA) is located in Fort Myers, Florida. We are a moderate risk, all-female program , contracted through the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, which offers comprehensive care and treatment, specializing in evidence-based intensive mental health services. The academy offers qualified supervision hours. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care in a serene and supportive environment, designed to promote healing and recovery for individuals facing mental health challenges. With a focus on evidence-based practices, Ft. Myers Academy ensures that each client receives personalized, effective treatment tailored to their specific needs. Pay: Starting at $69,000.00. What you will do: As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the health care of the students at our facility, as well as maintain all student medical files. You will also provide education to staff and students on health-related issues, first aid, infectious control and emergency procedures. To be considered you should: Bachelor's Degree is preferred in health-related care field. Possess a current Florida State License and have two years of previous medical services administration. Be at least 21 years of age, be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical and TB testing. Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
