Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician for a position located in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves working in an acute care setting, primarily with cardiac cases, and may include a variety of other surgical cases as needed. The technician will be responsible for assisting during procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and adhering to clinical protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST), at least 2 years of surgical technician experience, valid licensure to submit, willingness to wait for licensure if in process.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience, cardiac skills, ability to operate in a busy surgical environment, flexibility with scheduling including weekend rotations.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit notes: Manager will conduct interviews, no pre-screening required.
  • Housing leads available upon request; candidates are encouraged to explore the housing market after submission.
  • Must have experience with a minimum of 23 beds or be willing to support call as deemed appropriate by management.
  • No specific experience requirement beyond the minimum required; candidates with a foundational skill set are encouraged to apply.
