Patient Care Tech, General Surgery-Med Surg - South

JOB SUMMARY Patient Care Techs provide personal care, health-related services, and assist with activities of daily living. Patient Care Techs function under the direction, instruction, and supervision of nursing staff. Patient Care Techs have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continuing education. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Work Experience
- No previous experience
- CPR-BCLS
- Input data into computer programs.
- Communication and public relation skills.
- Obtain manual or electronic vital signs.
- Work with therapeutic equipment.
- Answer telephones.
- Collaborate care with nurses and report patient concerns promptly.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines.
- Ensures excellent time and attendance.
- Ability to handle confidential information and follow HIPAA Compliance.
- Maintain professional appearance at all times.
