You may conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.80 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday: 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM Sunday: 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, and communicating with visitors, drivers, and staff at the location. Help to manage truck gate, employee, and visitor access points by checking identification, logging arrivals and departures, and following post orders for deliveries, pickups, and restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, unusual activity, and policy violations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, yard, dock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related issues or operational concerns. Complete required reports and documentation related to access activity, incidents, and daily operations, while supporting emergency response activities when appropriate. Minimum Requirements: A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
