RN – Level 2 ICU Stepdown (Contract) – New York (14642) Location: New York, 14642 Schedule: 3x12s, Rotating Shifts (D/E/N) Includes weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties per unit needs Unit: ICU Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Position Requirements: Active New York State RN license (NY ONLY accepted) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Stepdown/PCU experience required (must have) Telemetry experience required BLS (AHA only) required ACLS preferred (AHA only) NIHSS preferred High-acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required Clinical Experience Required: 3% saline and Cardene drips Aneurysm coil/clips DBS (Deep Brain Stimulator) procedures VP shunts and seizure management Role Overview: Provide competent, evidence-based nursing care under established standards May function in expanded roles including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member Participate in clinical practice, service excellence, and professional development initiatives Deliver care to high-acuity patients with complex neurological and critical care needs #J-18808-Ljbffr
