More about our team The North Alabama Shoals Hospital Emergency Department offers RNs a fast-paced, team-driven environment where high-quality emergency care makes a real impact every day. Nurses work alongside experienced providers and supportive colleagues to deliver timely, compassionate care across a wide range of emergency conditions, while growing their skills in a department that values teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered outcomes. A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assistspatients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluates patient and family learning needs and providesappropriate educationbased on age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Schedule:Full-Time (MidShift) 3x12 What we're looking for Associate's degree in nursingrequired;bachelor's degree in nursingpreferred BCLSrequired ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Carepreferred;must be obtained within30 daysof employment.Two-three years of experience preferred, but newgradswelcomedto apply.
