CT Technologist

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering high-quality, safe imaging services in a collaborative healthcare setting. Responsibilities Include Performing CT procedures accurately following department protocols. Operating imaging equipment independently while minimizing radiation exposure. Maintaining equipment and adhering to infection control standards. Gathering clinical history, verifying patient identity, and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety. Ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout exams. Administering contrast agents using sterile techniques when necessary. Positioning patients correctly, applying markers, and immobilization devices. Reviewing images for diagnostic quality and making adjustments as needed. Documenting procedures accurately and managing images in RIS/PACS systems. Monitoring patient condition, responding to emergencies, and maintaining life-support equipment. Organizing workflows, supporting department operations, and maintaining compliance. Qualifications Include High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1-year radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS from the American Heart Association.
