Job Title Computed Tomography Technologist Location Los Angeles, CA Schedule / Job Type Contract | Rotating Shift | Onsite | Weekend Coverage Required Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric populations. Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation using GE Lightspeed and Canon SP Prime equipment. Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images to appropriate locations. Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information while adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CT equipment and manage supply inventory. Support CT-guided procedures for the Interventional Radiology team during day shifts as needed. Required Qualifications Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required. Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) state license in California required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required. Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required. Fluoroscopy license required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment. Venipuncture certification required in California if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials. Preferred Experience / Skills Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred. Advanced certification in CT modality preferred in California. Experience working with Cerner EMR system preferred.
