Base pay range $18.20/hr - $18.20/hr Direct message the job poster from Ultimate Staffing Business Solutions Manager for Ultimate Staffing Position Overview Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a Machine Operator I for a family-owned custom shipping company located in Santa Clara, CA. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals looking to work in a dynamic environment with the potential for long-term employment. Responsibilities Assist Operators in setting up machines, including slotting knives, heads, feed section, print plates, and die-cut tooling. Help with mounting printing plates and cutting dies. Ink the machine, use chemicals to adjust ink properties, and clean printing plates. Feed corrugated sheets into the machine. Cut strapping from corrugated bales. Lift pallets as needed. Contribute to cleaning the machine and maintaining a clean work area at all times. Utilize chemicals such as cold glue, silicone spray, water-based flexographic ink, pH adjuster, Antifoam, and Myer Ameri-clear. Qualifications Good communication skills in English. Basic math skills. Experience with machinery is a plus. Required Work Hours The position requires working from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Benefits The position offers a starting pay rate of $18.20 per hour.
