Production Technician

Work Schedule

• Shift: First Shift
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Machine Operation

• Safely operate roll forming equipment and related production machinery.
• Load metal coils, sheets, and other raw materials using proper handling procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Make routine machine adjustments to maintain production specifications.
• Record production information and report any quality or equipment concerns.

Material Handling

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Transport raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks while following company safety procedures.
• Maintain organized storage areas for materials and finished products.

Packaging & Shipping

• Package finished products according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare shipments by labeling, staging, and completing required documentation.
• Verify order accuracy before shipment.
• Assist with loading outbound shipments.

Plant Support

• Assist with the installation and setup of production equipment and workstations.
• Support plant layout changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through good housekeeping practices.

Preventive Maintenance

• Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Identify and report equipment issues promptly.
• Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting and repairs as needed.

Safety & Quality

• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and operating procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Report unsafe conditions, hazards, incidents, and near misses immediately.
• Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain quality standards by inspecting products and following established procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed.
• Work in varying temperatures typical of a manufacturing facility.

Work Environment


This position is performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to moving machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Proper PPE is required at all times.
