Job Details

• Position: Operating Room (OR) Nurse
• Location: Not specified
• Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - Registered Nurse - Multi-state Compact, BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor. All certifications are required upon hire.
• Education: Completion of an accredited/approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience required; preferred experience with direct patient care.
• Schedule: Shift from 6:45 am to 5:15 pm, four days per week, with scheduled call responsibilities. Call is self-assigned and in a randomized order, with 24-40 hours of call within a 4-week scheduling period.
• Additional Information: Clinicians will float among various specialties and will be able to choose their own call dates.
• Special Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English; proficiency with clinical technology and basic computer skills; strong interpersonal and customer service skills; capacity to respond decisively in emergency situations; excellent time management; evidence-based nursing practice; strong critical thinking skills.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be prepared to meet all credentialing and licensing requirements upon hire.
