Outpatient CMA: Clinical & Admin Support Pro

The Certified Medical Assistant delivers combined administrative and clinical support in outpatient, ambulatory, and specialty clinic settings to streamline provider workflows and optimize patient intake. Room patients, record vital signs, document chief complaints, and reconcile medications.Perform point-of-care lab tests (e.g., urinalysis, rapid strep/flu), phlebotomy, and standard 12-lead ECGs.Prepare exam rooms, sterilize clinical instruments, and assist physicians during minor in-office procedures.Administer approved immunizations and medications under the direct orders of a licensed physician.Coordinate prescription refill requests, prior authorizations, and patient appointment scheduling. What we’re looking for Education: High school diploma or GED; graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program (CAAHEP or ABHES). Certifications: Active national certification (CMA via AAMA, RMA via AMT, or CCMA via NHA); active BLS/CPR certification. Skills: Proficiency with standard EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth) and basic phlebotomy. Experience: 1+ years in an ambulatory or primary care setting preferred.
