Clinical Research Coordinator II/III

Company Description AARA Clinical Research originated within Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates (AARA), one of the largest and most successful rheumatology groups in the United States. The organization has over 30 years of experience in clinical research and has participated in more than 1,000 studies. Its site network includes 25 private practice offices across the country, supported by approximately 150 dedicated research professionals. With around 40 experienced Principal Investigators, AARA Clinical Research conducts all phases and types of clinical research, offering team members exposure to a broad range of therapeutic areas and study designs. Role Description The Clinical Research Coordinator II/III is a full-time, on-site role based in Fairfax, VA. This position is responsible for coordinating clinical trials from start-up through close-out, including scheduling and conducting participant visits, collecting and documenting data, and maintaining source documents and case report forms in accordance with protocols and regulatory standards. The coordinator will manage informed consent processes, ensure adherence to study protocols, monitor participant safety, and assist with reporting adverse events. Daily responsibilities include communicating with investigators and sponsors, preparing and maintaining regulatory binders, organizing study supplies and logs, and supporting monitoring visits and audits. The role also involves collaborating with clinical staff, ensuring accurate data entry, and contributing to continuous quality improvement in research operations. Qualifications Demonstrated clinical research experience and familiarity with the conduct of clinical trials. Ability to manage informed consent processes and ensure participant understanding and documentation. Strong knowledge of study protocols and the ability to implement and maintain protocol compliance. Solid research skills, including data collection, documentation accuracy, and basic data review. Experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting, preferably in rheumatology or related specialties. Understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and applicable FDA and IRB requirements. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency with electronic data capture systems and standard office software. Associate or bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience; professional certification in clinical research (e.g., ACRP, SOCRA) is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr AARA Clinical Research
