By putting clients first and continuously innovating, we're working together to set the pace for unlocking new possibilities that better serve the property industry.**Job Description:*****What you’ll do**** Champion Cotality’s transition to AI-first engineering practices, actively integrating Agentic AI into the SDLC to drive operational efficiencies.* Utilize the BMAD method alongside Spec Kit to accelerate development timelines while maintaining rigorous engineering standards.* Embrace an accelerated leadership trajectory with the opportunity to become a Dev Anchor, guiding and mentoring other engineers on the team.* Embrace and exemplify XP Values (Simplicity, Communication, Feedback, Respect, Courage).* Be an active member and leader of the property data developer community to help grow and enhance our engineering practices.* Pair programming with team members to solve complex problems together using Test Driven Development to implement continuous integration.* Collaborate with your team to provide technical direction on product, design, and architectural decisions.* Learn from others (because we all have something to learn) and teach others (because we all have something to teach).* When something goes wrong, assist in diagnosing and resolving production incidents and then improve upon our tests, code, and systems so we don’t see that problem ever again.**Job Qualifications:*****Required experience**** Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.* 5-8+ years of experience developing applications using modern Object-oriented Programming languages.* Strong understanding of architectural standards and software development methodologies.* Seasoned full stack development experience.* Advanced experience in Java, TypeScript/JavaScript.* Advanced experience using Spring Libraries.* Advanced experience in modern Front-End frameworks (Angular preferred; strong experience in React or other frameworks with highly transferable skills is fully acceptable). \* Experience in various database and big data technologies (PostgreSQL, BigQuery).* Hands-on experience developing with AI assistance tools, specifically GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI agents.* Flexibility and adaptability to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; Organizational and time-management abilities.* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.***Nice to Haves/Preferred**** Proficiency in utilizing AI coding agents via CLI mode for maximum developer productivity.* Experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and building or integrating custom Agentic AI servers.* Groovy, Gradle, Kafka, Terraform, ElasticSearch, Jenkins, Docker, Anthos.* NgRx, RxJS, Deck.gl.* Test Driven Development (TDD) experience.* Full stack development experience using modern Single Page Application (Single SPA) framework.* Full stack Micro Frontend development experience.* Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (GCP preferred, but AWS, Azure, or other cloud platform experience is welcome).* Experience in designing and implementing large-scale event-driven architectures (Kafka).* Strong understanding of modeling techniques, design patterns and SOLID principles.* Create and modify CI/CD pipelines.* Advanced understanding of foundation architecture.* Domain-specific industry experience in Real Estate, Insurance, Mortgage, or Residential Tax a plus.* Coaching and teaching skills to mentor less experienced team members.#LI-BH1#LI-hybrid**Annual Pay Range:**111,900 - 165,000 USD**Application Window:**This opportunity is expected to remain posted through the date identified below, subject to business needs.2026-06-30**Thrive with Cotality**At Cotality, we offer more than just a job, we provide a benefits experience designed to support your whole self.
