Water Truck Operator OpportunityTurner Staffing Group is seeking a Water Truck Operator to support surface operations in Nevada. This position is ideal for individuals who prioritize safety, take pride in equipment operation, and can work effectively in dynamic site conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Water Truck Operator, you will:Safely operate an 8,000-gallon water truck in accordance with site rules and manufacturer guidelinesPerform and document pre-operational inspections (fluids, tires, brakes, lights, articulation joint, etc.)Maintain full control of the vehicle across varying road and weather conditionsEnsure safe loading, transport, and controlled discharge of waterMonitor tank systems, including hoses, valves, and pumps, for proper functionCommunicate effectively using site radio and follow all traffic protocolsReport hazards, incidents, and mechanical issues immediatelyComplete all required logs, reports, and documentationWork ActivitiesConduct daily equipment inspections and post-operation checksVerify system integrity (tank, valves, pump functionality)Operate only on approved haul routes and maintain safe speedsMaintain safe following distances and situational awarenessPosition equipment safely for water discharge operationsPrevent spills, overflows, erosion, or unsafe discharge conditionsFollow proper parking, shutdown, and lockout procedures when requiredEquipment OperatedVolvo A40G Water Truck (8,000-gallon capacity)Onboard pumping and spray systemsSite communication systems (radio)Standard safety equipment (fire extinguisher, spill kit, emergency supplies)Safety ExpectationsSafety is a core value at Turner Staffing Group.
