Job Description Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist! We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to support a new Sports Medicine physician joining our team. This role will primarily work between Payson Sports Medicine and Utah Valley Sports Medicine, providing high-quality imaging in an orthopedic and sports-focused clinic environment. Why Join Us Be part of a growing Sports Medicine program Work closely with a dedicated provider in a clinic-based setting Consistent weekday schedule — no nights, weekends, or call Shift Details Full‑time (40 hours per week) Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday (no nights, weekends, or call; schedule may vary slightly based on provider needs) Location: Payson Sports Medicine (2–3 days per week) and Utah Valley Sports Medicine (~2 days per week) Sign‑on bonus: Up to $5,000 for eligible applicants Essential Functions Maintain ARRT competency and perform radiographic exams per protocol Ensure proper patient identification, positioning, and image quality Review images for clarity and diagnostic accuracy Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards Complete exams and documentation accurately and within expected timeframes Support clinic workflow and provide patient education and comfort Operate imaging equipment and systems (including PACS) effectively Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, and reporting issues Skills Radiographic technique and image quality Anatomy knowledge and image evaluation Equipment operation and electronic imaging systems Patient communication and customer service Teamwork and collaboration Task prioritization in a fast‑paced setting Minimum Qualifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification Radiologic technologist license in the state of practice Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) competency checklist and perform the function of an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting Preferred Qualifications 1–2 years radiology experience IV certification Experience in orthopedic or sports medicine imaging Physical Requirements Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies. Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors require verbal communication and ability to hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. Manual dexterity for manipulating complex and delicate equipment with precision. Frequent computer use, typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc. Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients, bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment, including items up to heavy weights. Requires walking and assisting with transporting/ambulating patients and distributing supplies and equipment, including pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms with equipment and power cords on the floor. May stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time. Compensation Hourly rate: $29.14 – $44.94 (actual rate dependent upon experience). Full‑time (40 hours per week). Location Payson Clinic, Payson, Utah.
