• Pay Rate: $75.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 4x10, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Day Shift); Call Requirement: 1 night per weekend & every 4th weekend; Weekend Requirement: Weekends consist of Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 6:30 AM

Job Summary

This is a Interventional Radiology travel/contract Allied position based at a healthcare facility in Wilmington, NC. The role is within a dedicated Neurovascular IR lab environment, performing advanced neurovascular and interventional radiology procedures. The unit operates two biplane suites (Siemens ICONO) and utilizes Fuji Synapse PACS, Brainlab, and EPIC Dimensions. First-time travelers are accepted if experienced, and local candidates are also accepted.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform neurovascular and interventional radiology procedures in a dedicated Neurovascular IR lab
• Perform intracranial thrombectomies, flow diversions, aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, MMA embolization, and carotid stenting
• Assist with management of patient diagnoses including intracranial aneurysms, intracranial AVMs, carotid stenosis, intracranial large vessel occlusions, Kyphoplasty, and hybrid intracranial aneurysm clippings
• Operate and utilize 2 biplane suites (Siemens ICONO)
• Utilize Fuji Synapse PACS, Brainlab, and EPIC Dimensions for imaging and documentation
• Document and communicate using EPIC & Pyxis unit systems
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio
• Fulfill call requirement: 1 night per weekend and every 4th weekend
• Complete 2 weeks of orientation (80 hours)

Education Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT VI preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Dedicated Neurovascular IR lab only - no general IR or other modality rotation
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• 4x10 shift schedule, Day Shift (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Call requirement: 1 night per weekend & every 4th weekend
• Float Requirement: N/A
• Weekend Requirement: Weekends consist of Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 6:30 AM
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Important Notes

• RTO (Return to Origin) after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite
• Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could potentially result in a contract cancellation and DNR (Do Not Rehire)
• 2 weeks of orientation (80 hours) required upon start
• Manager interview required before offer
