Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description

This role supports daily warehouse operations by performing shipping and receiving tasks, stocking and organizing inventory, and accurately handling orders using RF scanning technology. You will work as part of a fast-paced team to ensure products move efficiently through the facility while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including unloading, loading, and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Stock shelves and storage locations with incoming products in an organized and efficient manner.
• Sort packages and organize items by location, order, or shipment requirements.
• Pick orders accurately according to pick lists or RF scanner instructions and prepare them for packing and shipment.
• Pack boxes and orders securely, ensuring items are protected and properly labeled for shipment.
• Use RF scanners and RF scan guns to scan, label, and mark products and locations for inventory control.
• Assist with inventory tasks, including counting, tracking, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
• Operate manual pallet jacks and hand carts to move materials safely throughout the warehouse.
• Support warehouse production activities, including material handling, packaging, and staging orders.
• Follow all safety procedures while working in narrow aisles with forklifts and hand carts moving in designated directions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free work area to support efficiency and safety.
• Comply with all facility rules, including restrictions on personal electronics in warehouse areas.

• 06 months of related warehouse, general labor, or material handling experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading materials.
• Experience or comfort with general labor tasks such as packing, stocking, and sorting.
• Ability to use RF scanners or RF scan guns for scanning, labeling, and inventory tasks.
• Capability to operate a manual pallet jack and safely move materials within the warehouse.
• Basic inventory awareness, including scanning, counting, and tracking items.
• Ability to pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with moving equipment.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work instructions consistently.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and move throughout the shift.

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, stocking shelves, and order picking is an asset.
• Familiarity with packaging processes and packing boxes for shipment.
• Experience working with pallet jacks, hand carts, and other basic warehouse equipment.
• Comfort working around forklifts and narrow aisles in a busy warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate scanning, labeling, and inventory control.
• Willingness to learn to operate CROWN trucks after permanent hire, with training and certification provided.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to adapt to varying temperature conditions and fast-paced workflow.

The role is based in a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts move frequently in clearly defined, safety-conscious directions. The facility enforces a no-cellphone and no-electronics policy within the warehouse to maintain focus and safety. Temperature conditions vary by season: the warehouse is heated in the winter to around 60 degrees, while in the summer it can become very warm, with fans and water coolers placed throughout the facility to provide some relief. Team members should dress in light, breathable layers suitable for changing temperatures. Acceptable footwear includes sneakers, boots, or steel-toe shoes, while open-toe shoes, sandals, flats, and heels are not permitted. You can expect a physically active environment that involves standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift using manual pallet jacks, hand carts, and RF scanning equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
