Overview Registered Nurse – Telemetry in Atlanta, GA. Start date 09/08/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,620–$1,759 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 2x3 days Start date: 09/08/2026 Work setting: telemetry-focused cardiac unit with 28 beds (PCU/IMCU) Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a telemetry/cardiac unit, including STEMI/NSTEMI populations. Monitor continuous cardiac rhythms, interpret alarms, and respond to telemetry alerts; coordinate physician communication as needed. Administer and manage cardiac medications and drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) under physician orders; monitor for adverse effects. Prepare and maintain IVs, manage line care, and ensure safe administration of therapies per protocol. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans; document in the electronic health record. Maintain BLS/ACLS standards; ensure equipment and patient safety; may be assigned to other telemetry beds within the same unit as needed. Requirements Active registered nurse license in Georgia (or eligibility for Georgia licensure) BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years of telemetry/cardiac unit experience in a facility of similar size (approximately 28-bed PCU/IMCU) Documented MS/Telemetry experience in work history; ability to work in a fast-paced telemetry environment Graduate of an approved nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) Ability to load and verify demographic information and badge photo as part of credentialing requirements Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours 24/7 recruiter and travel support Fast credentialing Extension opportunities Housing assistance Nationwide assignments Referral bonus up to $1,000 Dedicated support throughout the assignment Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
