Laundry Assistant

Job Title
Daily sorts and cleans soiled linens and resident clothing using the washing equipment, loads the clean linens/clothes into the dryer and then folds and stacks the clean linens and clothes into appropriate groupings to be distributed back to the residents or storage areas.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable in general cleaning techniques for clothing and linens and the proper uses of certain cleaning agents.
- Must be mindful at all times of proper techniques to be observed when dealing with soiled clothing and/or linens used by residents having infectious/contagious conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds, pushing and pulling linen carts.
