Accountant

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accountant in Manchester, NH.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Support month-end and year-end close activities across multiple entities
• Review and validate financial submissions from international and subsidiary teams
• Maintain and support internal control documentation and compliance requirements
• Apply general accounting principles and procedures to daily accounting activities
• Work within an ERP system to ensure accurate account setup and financial reporting
• Utilize reconciliation and project-tracking tools to support accounting operations

Maintain accounting schedules, including:

• Fixed asset rollforwards
• Lease schedules
• Equity summaries
• Goodwill summaries
• Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and special projects as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting initiatives and process improvements

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in General Ledger accounting
• Experience preparing and posting journal entries
• Strong account reconciliation experience
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and internal controls
• Experience working within an ERP environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-starter with minimal hand-holding required
• Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new processes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Revenue accounting experience
• Experience supporting multi-entity accounting environments
• Exposure to international or subsidiary financial reporting
• Experience with fixed assets, lease accounting, equity accounting, or goodwill reporting.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
