PartTime Administrative Assistant

This position is for 8 hours per day on Thursday and Friday as an administrative assistant supporting the front office for the middle school/high school.

Mooresville Christian Academy is a thriving, growing Christian school dedicated to academic excellence and spiritual growth.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to provide administrative support on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly, communicating effectively, and handling a variety of office tasks with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support to help daily operations run efficiently
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and direct inquiries appropriately
• Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate appointments
• Prepare, organize, and maintain documents, records, and files
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and basic office documentation
• Support internal teams with correspondence, follow-up, and task tracking
• Handle clerical duties such as scanning, copying, mailing, and filing
• Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment

Qualifications

• Previous administrative, office support, or clerical experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency with common office software and basic computer applications
• Comfort working independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, professional, and adaptable approach to work

Preferred Skills
