Part Time Housekeeping/Laundry Aide – Wilkesboro Health & Rehab

Join Our Compassionate Care TeamWilkesboro Health & Rehab is a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and resident comfort.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces following infection control protocols.
Operate industrial washers and dryers; sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
Maintain cleanliness of laundry and housekeeping equipment.
Ensure proper labeling and return of residents’ personal laundry.
Adhere to OSHA and facility safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and proper chemical handling.
Assist with floor care tasks such as vacuuming, and mopping as needed
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services within a healthcare setting is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sanitary environment.
Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
