Driver/Yard Attendant

Keep Our Dealership MovingBoater's World Marine Centers is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-focused Yard Attendant/Driver to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX.This is a hands-on role that plays a critical part in the daily operations of the dealership. You'll be responsible for safely trailering and moving boats throughout the dealership, maintaining an organized and professional yard, and supporting the Sales, Service, and Parts Departments to ensure boats are ready for customers, technicians, and deliveries.If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a fast-paced team environment, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoBoat Trailering & Yard OperationsSafely trailer and move boats throughout the dealership to support daily Sales, Service, and Parts operationsTransport boats between the showroom, service department, storage areas, and delivery staging locationsAssist with staging boats for customer deliveries, showroom presentation, and service appointmentsLoad, unload, and properly position boats and trailers throughout the dealershipAssist with receiving and organizing incoming inventory to maintain an efficient lot layoutYard MaintenanceMaintain a clean, organized, and professional dealership appearancePerform routine lot maintenance, debris removal, and general housekeepingMonitor inventory locations and report any damage or maintenance concernsHelp maintain safe traffic flow and organization throughout the dealershipService & Sales SupportAssist Marine Technicians by moving boats in and out of service baysSupport the Sales Team by preparing boats for customer deliveries and demonstrationsHelp maintain efficient workflow by ensuring boats are staged and available when neededAssist with dealership events, inventory movement, and additional operational needsEquipment & SafetySafely operate dealership trucks, trailers, forklifts, tractors, and other yard equipmentPerform routine inspections of trailers and towing equipment before useFollow all company safety policies and proceduresMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentPerform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operationsRequirementsValid driver's license with a clean driving record (must have been licensed for a minimum of 4 years)Previous experience trailering and maneuvering boats, trailers, RVs, utility trailers, or similar equipment strongly preferredComfortable backing trailers and safely moving boats throughout dealership propertyPrevious experience in a yard, marina, dealership, landscaping, equipment, or similar outdoor role is a plusAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the yearBasic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with boats or marine equipment preferredStrong communication skills and a team-first attitudeAbility to safely lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work, including bending, kneeling, walking, and climbing in and around boatsDependable, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environmentWillingness to work Saturdays and additional hours during peak boating seasonWhy Join Boater's World Marine Centers?Boater's World Marine Centers is one of the fastest-growing marine dealership groups in the country, offering a stable work environment, year-round opportunities, and a team that is passionate about boating and customer service.
