Section Supervisor for Aircraft Maintenance

Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as section supervisor over employees engaged in condition evaluation, test, repair, modification, and overhaul of aircraft structural assemblies, components, and parts. Employees are engaged in identification, removal, and prevention of corrosion on assigned/authorized aircraft, and ground support equipment. Additionally, other employees are required to inspect machines, weld, repair aircraft parts and components, and to design and manufacture support equipment used in all types of aircraft maintenance. Provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks herein.

Duties:

• Performs work planning responsibilities.
• Performs work direction responsibilities.
• Performs administrative responsibilities.
