Contract Registered Nurse LTC/SNF

You are invited to apply for a contract position as a Registered Nurse in a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF). This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including those with dementia and other geriatric needs, in a 51-bed facility with a supportive team structure.

Job Overview

  • Shift: Nights and Days, 12-hour shifts from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. or 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., every other weekend and holiday
  • Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
  • Contract Duration: 16 weeks

About the Unit

  • Number of beds: 51
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2 nurses during the day and 1 overnight nurse
  • Common diagnosis: Dementia/geriatrics
  • Orientation: 2 hours with the LEAD team and then 1-2 shifts on the floor with another staff member
  • Charting system: PCC

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience
  • BLS Certification
