Registered Nurse Operating Room

$2312.00/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy Operating Room setting. Assist with case management, patient transport, and turnover duties to ensure smooth surgical operations and safety.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Circulate cases across various specialties including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology.
  
  
• 
  Help with turnover cleaning and preparation of surgical suites between procedures.
  
  
• 
  Transport patients to and from the operating room as needed.
  
  
• 
  Schedule surgical cases and coordinate with surgical teams and departments.
  
  
• 
  Assist with equipment setup and utilization, including EPIC, Pyxis, and Provation systems.
  
  
• 
  Support the surgical team in maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Hawaii RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 to 3 years of circulating experience in an hospital operating room.
  
  
• 
  Ability to scrub cases is preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in operating room equipment and electronic medical records.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work flexible hours, including call shifts up to 2 times a week and up to 2 weekends per month.
  
  
• 
  Must reside within 30 minutes of the hospital for timely callback.
