About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Product Marketing to spearhead the commercialization of innovative outdoor power equipment products in North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading product messaging, value proposition, merchandising, costing, and channel strategy, with a focus on achieving sustainable and profitable growth. This pivotal role requires the ability to set and implement product marketing strategies across all product lines, ensuring continuity and alignment with corporate goals. The VP will also be a key communicator, both internally and externally, and will work closely with sales, operations, marketing, finance, and global teams to promote the brand and grow the market. Candidates for the Vice President of Product Marketing position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in multiple retail channels, with a strong background in both marketing and product management. A 4-year college degree is required, with an MBA being preferred. The role demands a creative, adaptable, and self-starting individual who can effectively manage a high-caliber team and is adept at building and implementing new processes and business plans. Experience in a seasonal product category and a consumer-first approach to business are essential. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, collaborative leader, capable of influencing and motivating a team, and willing to travel as needed to achieve key objectives.
