The Mechanical Engineer will create/review models and BOM's for power distribution equipment including Metal-Clad Switchgear, Metal-Eclosed Switchgear and Panelboards.Job Duties:Review electrical diagrams and requirements from electrical engineeringConvert electrical drawings into a mechanical package including elevations, section views and bill of materialProvide electrical engineering with mechanical components of drawing packageRelease bill of material for purchasing and fabricationReceive new product designs, product modifications and implement the new designs/changes into production engineering systemsProvide support to manufacturing regarding project questions and issuesInteract with electrical engineering, and project management as requiredCommunicate job status, including possible issues, with supervisor
