About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Chief Medical Officer for its Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for driving and facilitating the strategic goals of the campus and system. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the hospital-based women's and children's organizational programs are of the highest quality and efficiency. The CMO will lead and direct the application of evidence-based and safe clinical practices, and clinical performance improvement activities, and will be a vital part of the senior management team, collaborating in the strategic development and implementation of short- and long-term goals. Applicants must have a Medical Doctorate from an accredited medical school, be licensed to practice in the State of Texas, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant leadership role. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in pediatric clinical quality, patient safety, performance improvement, and physician engagement initiatives. The CMO will also be responsible for providing administrative leadership in various hospital-based departments and must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
