Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Med-Surg Experience Be a Team Player Critical Thinking Skills Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds - 36 Number of Staff - 49 Type of Staff - For 36 patients: Day Shift - 1 Charge, 3 RNs, 3 LPN, 3 PCTs, and 1 Secretary Night Shift - 1 Charge, 3 RNs, 3 LPNs, 3 PCTs Patient Ratios - Nurse/Patient = 6:1 Type of Equipment: IV pumps, Wound Vacs, SCD pumps, Kangaroo Pumps, Chest Tubes, Telemetry, PCA pumps, Bipaps, Epidurals EMR - Typical Procedures Performed: Wound Vac changes Wound Care IV insertions Insertion of Indwelling Foley Catheters Best Personality Fit: Willing to work as a Team. Required Certifications: Active Nursing License, ACLS, BLS Floating Areas: 6A, 3A, 3 South, 4 South Dress Code: Ceil Blue scrubs, no sweatshirts, no crocs.
