Job Summary:

The Ellicott City Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team in Ellicott City, Maryland. As a vital member of our leadership team, the DON will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, leading our nursing team, and promoting a culture of excellence throughout our center. Responsibilities:

• Oversees the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and our center's policies and procedures

• Develops and implements effective care plans, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, to meet the unique needs of each patient

• Fosters a positive and supportive work environment, promoting open communication, teamwork, and professional development among nursing staff

• Develops and manages the nursing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective allocation of staff

• Collaborates with other departments, including Therapy, Social Services, and Dietary, to ensure seamless delivery of patient care

• Participates in quality improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction

• Recruits, hires, and mentors nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure ongoing professional growth and development

Requirements:

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland

• Minimum of (insert minimum years of experience) years of experience as a nurse leader, preferably in a long-term care setting

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; Master's degree preferred

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on excellent patient care and customer service
