This role is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and business-aligned technology solutions that support strategic initiatives across the global organization. The Senior Solution Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, infrastructure teams, security, and application owners. This position is ideal for a professional who combines strong technical depth with architectural thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to guide delivery teams. Role Details Title: Senior Solution Architect – Microsoft Hyper‑V, Automation (Ansible, Python, Power Shell) Location: Open across USA / Mexico / Canada Team: Global Architecture Key responsibilities: solution designs architecture diagrams integration patterns environment considerations non-functional requirements technical decision records enterprise architecture infrastructure cloud/platform teams security application development vendors and partners resilience performance supportability compliance cost efficiency Design end-to-end solution architectures for business and technology initiatives Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable technical solutions Produce and maintain key architecture deliverables such as: Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and operational requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams including: Evaluate technologies, platforms and design options and provide clear recommendations Support project and program teams during planning, estimation, delivery and transition to operations Identify architecture risks, dependencies, constraints and mitigation plans early in the lifecycle Contribute to the development of reference architectures, reusable patterns and best practices Participate in architecture governance, design reviews and solution assurance activities Help ensure solutions are designed with appropriate consideration for: Target Profile We are looking for a senior‑level architect with deep expertise in: Microsoft Hyper‑V Virtualization architecture automation ( preferably Ansible, Python and PowerShell optional ) Windows Server / clustering / virtualization / storage / networking The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth in mentioned areas, can define standards and documentation, support modernization initiatives and collaborate effectively across international teams Candidate Background The Ideal Candidate Should Have 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2+ years in a solution architecture, technical architecture, or senior technical design role Hands‑on Hyper‑V expertise Practical Ansible experience Enterprise or managed services background Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience with cloud architecture on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Experience with integration patterns, APIs Relevant certifications in architecture, cloud, or security are an asset Ability to balance strategic design with practical delivery realities Success Measures Success in this role will be measured by the ability to: Deliver high-quality solution designs that are clear, actionable and aligned to business goals Improve design consistency and reduce delivery risk through sound architecture practices Enable projects to move forward faster by providing practical, well-structured guidance Strengthen collaboration across engineering, security, and operations Support the creation of reusable standards and patterns across the Global Architecture function Why Join the Team Joining the Global Architecture team offers the opportunity to shape strategic technology decisions, influence enterprise-wide design standards and work across a broad range of initiatives with meaningful business impact Why Syntax?
