Step into a highly rewarding, school-based role supporting elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) during the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity promises hands-on, on-site impact, with an August start and a May finish – ideal for those looking to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives within a defined timeframe.
Two SLP positions are available, each offering a dynamic caseload:
- Position One: Serve one elementary school and one middle school building.
- Position Two: Work across two middle school buildings.Both roles manage a caseload of 45-55 students, allowing you to focus and build strong rapport in a manageable setting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license, with CCC required.
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly desirable.
- Expertise in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering direct/student-centered speech therapy.
- Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families.
- Skilled in working with elementary and/or middle school populations.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site speech-language services for assigned buildings.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Create data-driven therapeutic interventions and monitor progress.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements.
This is a full-time, contract role (37.5 hours/week) and offers a supportive environment with peers passionate about student communication success. The entire position is based on-site for direct service and collaboration—no virtual responsibilities.
