Overview: We are seeking a corporate Legal Administrative Assistant to work in our Bank & Finance group. We seek an individual with previous banking LAA experience or someone who has worked at the executive administrative level who is interested in becoming a part of the legal profession. Key Responsibilities Include: Document creation and revisions Proofreading and redacting Maintaining electronic case files Collation and production of discovery requests and responses Project management Calendar maintenance including scheduling internal and external meetings Word Processing Microsoft office work including letter writing etc. Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required Our Ideal Candidate Will Have: High school diploma Knowledge or familiarity with corporate transactional law and/or mergers and acquisitions Prior law firm experience and/or knowledge of, or previous exposure to the banking industry Knowledge or familiarity with bank regulatory matters including preparing letters and related materials to bank regulatory agencies Strong interpersonal skills Ability to build relationships and interest in being part of a team environment Exceptional organizational abilities Attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities Self-motivation and a proactive approach Creative thinking ability Effective and efficient task completion Advanced technical skills in Microsoft applications Adobe Acrobat Willingness to learn new systems and applications Benefits: medical dental vision basic life insurance supplemental life insurance short-term disability long-term disability employee resource benefits (inclusive of counseling, coaching, and caregiving guidance) paid parental leave parenting classes pre-tax parking transportation options much more! financial planning Social Security/Medicare planning 401k/Roth investment options firm-paid profit sharing contribution Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms and conditions. The salary range for this position varies by geographical market. In Minneapolis, the estimated starting annual pay range is $24 - $39/hour. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate’s experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location. In addition to a highly competitive salary, the firm offers a 37.5 work week and a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
