Cybersecurity Analyst II PMO / OPERATIONS - 100.8732 (Billings Clinic Main Campus) req12367 Shift: Fully Remote Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater) Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Exempt) Starting Wage DOE: $40.91 - $51.14 Completes tasks designed to ensure the organization's online systems and digital assets are secured. Protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction of digital assets, and develops IT security policies and standards. Works with end users to determine cybersecurity needs of individual departments. Understands Internet architecture and firewall configuration to protect system security. Responsible for the proactive assessment and analysis of threat information, understanding threats as they relate to the organization, and implementing measures to prevent or combat existing and potential threats. May need to authorize user access and be familiar with domain structures and digital signatures. Essential Job Functions

• Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.
• Make decisions about the best tools for any given security issue including evaluation of new products.
• Provide advice on IT initiatives, IT business projects, and IT engineering regarding security industry best practices.
• Analyze cyber network events and determine impact on current operations through all-source intelligence.
• Maintain knowledge of the current security threat level by monitoring related Internet postings, Intelligence reports, and other related documents as necessary.
• Implement and monitor controls necessary to ensure processes are performed and are effective to protect the environment from all forms of malicious cyber activity.
• Determine if security events monitored should be escalated to incidents and follow all applicable incident response and reporting processes and procedures.
• Research emerging security technologies for applicability
• Work with other security team members to augment their role and advise on issues.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or as needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

Minimum Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s degree or higher required in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cyber Security or related field. Experience

• At least 5 years working in a technical role in healthcare or related field.
• Strong experience with Information System Security (ISS), PKI, firewalls, intrusion detection/protection and related vulnerability assessment tools for network periphery and internal network/service discovery and topology mapping.
• Working knowledge with various technologies including forensic tools, network monitoring tools, host security prevention tools, etc.
• Self-motivator who monitors the news and threat reports in order to ascertain the potential risks to the company.
• Experience with cloud security technologies a plus.

Certifications and Licenses • CISSP, CCSP CEH, SSCP, Security+, Certificate in Cyber Security, or related certifications strongly preferred. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered. Employees that require a licensed or certification must be properly licensed/certified and the licensure/certification must be in good standing.
