Seasonal | The Greenbrier Hotel | United States Posted On 05/27/2026 Job Information Department Name: Housekeeping Hospitality $16.40 Plus Additional Compensation Opportunities City: White Sulphur Springs State/Province: West Virginia 24986 Job Description Primary Responsibilities Perform Daily Maid Service at the standard detailed in the Standard Operating Procedures including the functions of: Change all linen daily Clean bathroom Dust all wooden surfaces Clean and/or vacuum all floors Replenish amenities Return guest room amenities, furniture & furnishings to designated locations Tidy the guests’ personal belongings (i.e. clothing, shoes, toiletries, etc.) Secondary Responsibilities Respond to varying special requests, including: Emergency clean up Providing additional requested amenities or furnishings Communicate with guests regarding directions, providing descriptions of hotel amenities and facilities Normal Working Hours Must be available Sunday – Saturday & all holidays In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria Past Work Experience Requirements Housekeeping experience in hotel or professional work environment preferred. One year consecutive work history showing dependability & commitment to the job, OR If a candidate has no work history within the past year, dependability and commitment can be demonstrated through non-paid activity or involvement such as school, extracurricular activities or volunteering. Satisfactory performance and attendance with 5 or less absences per year. Educational Requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D.required Communication Skills Requirements Ability to effectively communicate with internal & external customers. Ability to quickly solve and respond to problems Technical Requirements None Required Supervision Directions given by supervisor Ability to follow directions Must work independently Other Requirements Must be flexible Must have a neat & clean appearance Must be able to perform all phases of cleaning. Ability to handle pressure & deadlines. Must be able to organize & plan tasks. Must be able to work harmoniously with co-workers.
