Loss Prevention Officer

Overview Immediate opening for a Full-time or Part-time Loss Prevention Officer in Altoona, IA. Responsibilities Identify shoplifters through floor patrol and through the use of Closed Circuit TV Report writing Interact with local law enforcement agencies as needed Provide courtroom testimony as required Qualifications Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently Location, Schedule and Compensation Location: Altoona, IA Full-time / 30-40 hours per week Part-Time / 20-29 hours per week Pay: $22.00 per hour Benefits Health Insurance / 401k available to full-time employees Paid Time Off Job Requirements Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screen Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time Reliable transportation Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement High school diploma or equivalent (minimum) Criminal Justice or related studies a plus Application and EEO Notice This is an immediate opening.
