Project Manager

About The Role We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team! Technical Responsibilities Provide project management support and task management on projects. Prepare reports, figures, drawings, specifications, and other deliverables. Provide detailed engineering calculations. Perform field work, data collection/analysis, and documentation for stormwater projects. Coordinate with teammates on projects to ensure proper and timely execution. Assist upper-level management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor. Managerial Responsibilities Supervise all staff necessary to complete assignments. Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments. Lead client project coordination. Contribute to the company’s business development efforts (e.g., develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners). Prepare proposals to provide professional services or obtain funding for engineering projects or programs. Review others’ work to ensure quality control, completeness, and accuracy of team deliverables. Show up for your colleagues and positively contribute to the team's culture, learning, and growth. Communication Skills Possesses advanced oral and written communication skills. Represents the organization in communications and conferences pertaining to broad aspects of engineering assignments. About You A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field (required) A Washington State PE license (or can obtain one within six months) 8+ years of experience in design, planning, and implementation of water resource and civil engineering projects. Increasing responsibility in project management, including scoping, client communication, invoicing, and managing the work of others. Proficiently qualified to review the work of others. Enthusiasm for civil engineering, learning, and creative thinking/problem solving. Knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations that inform design. Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS, AutoCAD SSA, SWMM, HEC-RAS, SRH-2D, and StormShed3G (preferred). Solid understanding of and experience with Washington State stormwater design and requirements (preferred). Active participation in industry organizations (preferred). The expected compensation range for this position for employees based in the Bellevue/Seattle area is $96,000-$124,000 and is dependent upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
