Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital Operating Room position supporting total joints, spine, transplant, and robotic surgeries.

Operating Room unit with 16 beds on the 2nd floor of the main building

Uses DaVinci Robotics equipment

Meditech/CPN EMR system used for charting

Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Typical procedures include total joints and spine, kidney/liver transplants, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics cases

On-call required on weekends, typically 6-8 calls per 8-week period with a 30 minute response time

Initial shifts scheduled by the facility, with self-scheduling available afterward

Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital CST experience

NBSTA and DORA certifications required and must be active

BLS certification required

State licensure required if applicable

Transplant experience highly preferred

Spine experience preferred

Prior Meditech experience preferred

No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Support surgical procedures across a variety of specialties including orthopedics, transplant, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates will not be considered
