Seeking an experienced Coding Auditor, the full-time remote position will perform routine audits of professional coding across multiple specialties, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing actionable feedback while tracking coding trends for quality improvement. Key responsibilities: Conduct routine audits and root cause analysis on coding errors, tracking results and compliance with coding guidelines Serve as a coding resource and mentor, developing educational materials and conducting training sessions for coding staff Participate in client meetings as a coding subject matter expert, providing guidance on coding, documentation, and compliance issues Required qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of medical coding auditing experience Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and payer-specific guidelines Experience conducting coding audits and delivering feedback Proven ability to interpret medical documentation and apply accurate coding principles CPC, CPMA, CCS-P, or equivalent coding certification preferred
