Database Engineer - HybridGenesis10 is currently seeking a Database Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.In this role, you will be responsible for working on medium-to-high profile database projects and support efforts focused on analytics and operational reporting. You will leverage the Microsoft technology stack, specifically Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), to provide database administration and support. This position requires managing complex Always On configurations and partnering with technology teams to ensure platform stability, scalability, and security.Responsibilities:Provide analysis and design support for data related projects and enhancements across all SDLC environmentsPartner closely with technology teams, resources, and business partners in the implementation, engineering, and support across all environmentsManage complex Always On configurations with SQL Server 2019 - 2022Responsible for communications associated with ongoing support and the deployment of data architecture and policy principlesRecommend, mentor, train, and monitor resource allocations and project tasksDevelop and maintain documentation on implementation steps, technical procedures, and knowledge base materialsConsult on moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Database EngineeringRequirements:4 years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education4 years of hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, Always On, and SSIS (including SSISDB)Experience in a Database Administrator (DBA) or Admin Support capacity, not as a developerAbility to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite per week in Charlotte, NCDesired Skills:Experience with ServiceNowExperience with AutosysExperience with on-call rotationPay range: $43.59 - $51.59 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
