Kitchen Manager

Pitfire Pizza is an expanding company of uniquely designed, entrepreneurially managed, wood-fired pizza joints. We offer thoughtful, seasonal, and chef-driven food and make ourselves available to our community in many ways. Our craft beer and cocktail program is fun and creative, and we offer a small but mighty wine list. We make our own dough, we hand stretch our pizzas and we are driven by hospitality, art, and being a positive force in the community.

We are searching for a passionate Kitchen Manager to lead the team!

A qualified candidate will be a role model who is hands-on, driven, and committed to upholding our hospitality standards. The ideal candidate will possess an owner mentality when operating the business, a strong level of financial acumen, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

• Ensure menu is consistently prepared according to the recipe, portion and presentation guidelines
• Ability to maintain operational control of purchasing, receiving, and inventory of all kitchen item
• Maintain functionality, cleanliness and safety of equipment and tools
• Schedule labor to create optimal service while meeting labor cost goals
• Passion for training and development to drive our standards to our team members
• Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, and mutual respect
• Have an active ServSafe Food Safety Certificate
• Have a flexible schedule. Mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays are required
