Join a fulfilling cardiothoracic surgery practice backed by a well-established, multidisciplinary Heart & Vascular program.

Our organization is in search of a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible CT Surgeon to become part of our Heart & Vascular Associates team in Portsmouth, Ohio. You will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, advanced practice providers, surgical first assistants, and a skilled clinical support team.

This role offers the chance to maintain a diverse surgical practice while managing patient care in two to three half-day clinics. The surgical procedures encompass CABG, valve replacements, surgical ablation, pacemaker insertions, VATS, thoracotomies, esophagectomies, and hiatal hernia repairs. Qualified candidates may also have the chance to engage in vascular procedures.

• Base salary of $1,123,919

• Sign-on bonus of $100,000

• Medical school loan repayment assistance of up to $200,000

• Residency/fellowship stipend of up to $25,000

• Bonus incentives reaching up to 10% of your salary

• 1:3 call rotation

• Moving allowance of $10,000

• Four weeks of vacation, in addition to holidays and sick leave

• Five CME days with up to $5,000 allocated for CME expenses

• Access to full cardiac surgical resources and cardiopulmonary bypass

• Utilization of the da Vinci robotic surgical system

• 24/7 hospitalist coverage

• Teaching opportunities with eligibility for Clinical Adjunct Faculty status through Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine

The ideal candidate will have completed a fellowship in Cardiac Surgery, be eligible for medical licensure in Ohio, and possess experience in a comprehensive range of adult cardiac procedures.
