Certified Surgical Technologist Or ORT Opportunity

Embark on a fulfilling opportunity providing patient care and surgical support as a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist or ORT within a dynamic perioperative environment. Schedule/Hours:

• 3 shifts per week, 12-hour days (9:00am9:30pm)
• Specific shift days will be discussed during the interview process

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification required
• At least two years of relevant experience as an ORT or Certified Surgical Technologist
• Strong understanding of sterile technique, instrumentation, and perioperative procedures
• Proven ability to anticipate surgeon and team needs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field before and during procedures
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies
• Ensure availability and functionality of required surgical equipment and supplies
• Accurately count sponges, instruments, and needles with the circulating nurse
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and infection control standards
• Provide patient-centered, compassionate care as an integral part of the operating room team
