Certified Surgical Tech

Candidates will participate in the surgical team. They must assist with preparing instruments and equipment for surgical procedures. Candidates should maintain a sterile environment during surgeries. They will also ensure all surgical supplies are accounted for before and after the procedure. Skills checklist must be specific to the operating room discipline. A supervisory reference form completed within the last two years is required. Candidates must fulfill mandatory reporting requirements. The work involves call responsibilities of about 8-10 days in a 6-week period. Weekend call will be required every other weekend.

Experience: 2+ years of operating room experience License: Active Driver's License Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS - NBSTSA / National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting certificate Must-Have: - Proficiency in spine procedures - Proficiency in orthopedics - Proficiency in general surgery - Proficiency in robotics - Proficiency in ENT - Proficiency in gynecology - Prior travel experience in the operating room
