Work Environment

The Royal Heights Rehabilitation Center offers a collaborative onsite work environment where innovation meets compassion. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, which includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, all focused on patient recovery goals. The center operates primarily Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, granting flexibility to accommodate patient needs while ensuring a wholesome work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and conditions to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Hands-On Therapy: Implement various treatment modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and electrical stimulation, to optimize patient recovery.
• Interprofessional Collaboration: Work alongside physicians and specialists in developing integrated care approaches, ensuring patients receive cohesive treatment that addresses all aspects of their health.
• Patient Education: Empower patients by providing detailed education on their diagnoses, explaining treatment options, and guiding them through home exercise programs that will reinforce their recovery process.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records utilizing our electronic medical record (EMR) system to track progress and modify treatment plans effectively.
• Team Participation: Actively contribute to team meetings and case discussions to enhance care delivery and improve clinical processes.
• Professional Development: Engage in ongoing learning opportunities through training sessions, workshops, and continuing education opportunities to stay current in the field.
• Community Engagement: Foster relationships within the community by participating in outreach initiatives that promote health education and wellness.
• Mentorship: Help train and mentor newly hired staff and interns, sharing your knowledge and experience to cultivate a strong, skilled team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, sports injuries, and age-related mobility challenges. Your ability to connect with patients and understand their individual concerns will be pivotal in tailoring care plans that inspire confidence and promote vigorous recovery.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license or eligibility to practice in the state of Nevada.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; DPT or MPT preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge in areas such as orthopedics, neurology, and general rehabilitation, achieved through both education and practical experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care, enabling effective communication with patients and their families.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of full-time clinical practice in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive Salary: Competitive compensation ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, based on experience and performance.
